Drata integrations and auto-validations

Connect your infrastructure, identity manager, code repository, and MDM software or the Drata agent to auto-validate your system controls.

OVERVIEW

Your systematic configurations that can be auto-validated and monitored in Drata, covers 31 (31%) of your key control activities.

STEP 1: CONNECT YOUR SYSTEMS

You can connect these to Drata using the available integrations. This should include:

  1. Device: The Drata agent for endpoint devices or an MDM solution - Eg. JAMF
  2. Infrastructure: Your infrastructure provider - Eg. AWS
  3. Identity Provider: Your identity provider or workplace software - Eg. Google Workspace
  4. Version Control: Your code repository - Eg. Github

STEP 2: CHECK COMPLIANCE STATUS

After these are connected, check the status of the auto-validation tests in the Compliance -> Monitoring section of Drata. These can be filtered by selecting Filter by Category: (1) Device, (2) Infrastructure, (3) Identity Provider, (4) Version Control. Check each test has passed, or click “FIX NOW” for any failing tests.

STEP 3: FIX FAILING TESTS

For any failing tests, click “FIX NOW” and follow the Drata guidance on how to resolve the failures. If you believe your setup is appropriate and the test is still failing, contact your audit lead consultant and advise the reason for the failure and why you believe it is appropriate as is.
