AL Refs: EXT04, NSC03
Purpose
The firewall review should include review of the administrative interfaces, configuration settings compared to the policy or requirements, logs and reports on the firewall device itself, as well as checking logs and status on all of the remote logging, monitoring and alerting systems in relation to that firewall device. The purpose is to identify any anomalies in the network traffic and ensure the firewalls are configured effectively and in line with any policy requirements.
